How does Crop It Like It's Hot work?

The braided clothing style is considered clothes altering because I don't make the base piece from scratch. That being said, when I say everything is "made to order," I'm referring to cutting and braiding the piece after it is purchased and do not take body measurements to then use to make the item. I mention this because my processing/shipping time is longer than just shipping pre-made inventory. I can do some customizations such as more or less coverage or a different braiding style on something else in my shop! Please DM or email me about sizing if you're in between sizes.

How much do you charge for shipping?

Ground Advantage shipping is always included for all U.S. orders via USPS. If you'd like faster, Priority shipping is available for $7.00. Email or DM me regarding international orders. 

How long will my order take? USPS. (Current wait time: 2 weeks) 

Processing and shipping times will vary depending on how many other orders I have ahead of yours. This time will be determined by season; for example, spring and summer are my busiest times due to music festivals. Holidays and New Years can be busy too! I will always have my processing time updated in my Instagram bio, the home page of my website, and in this sections title. How do I clean my braided clothing?

I hand wash with cold water or machine wash on delicate in a lingerie bag. The dye may run for the first few washes!

How do you determine your price structure? 

My prices are based on the cost of high quality base pieces, time that goes into designing, crafting each piece, and the cost of running a small business. This includes running the website, packing materials, equipment, time for social media/marketing and more! When you purchase from a small business, you're not only helping support my dream to be a full time creator, you are also voting with your dollar by not supporting fast fashion. This business is what I do full time and every time I get an order, I do a little happy dance because it means that you love what I love to do too! 

How does sizing work and do you carry plus sizes?

I always recommend that customers purchase their normal size in camis, but if you're in between sizes on anything else, size up! I have spent an extensive amount of time on product searching and handpicked the base pieces that I use to have the best chance at fitting everyone correctly. The tops and poly/spandex bottoms have lots of stretch, even when braided and have quite a lot of give in the hip/leg area! I do have plus sizes in most lines, but if I don't, it means the base piece isn't made in that size. If you have any questions about sizing, please do not hesitate to DM or email me and include your measurements and which piece you are interested in. 

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

Crop It Like It's Hot does not offer refunds or exchanges because a piece doesn't fit correctly. Please read the size chart or contact me with your measurements and the item you are interested in for any sizing questions and I will happily suggest which size would work best for your body type and specifications! 

My package was lost, stolen, or damaged in the mail. What do I do?

Crop It Like It's Hot is not liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen packages. If you feel you have an extenuating circumstance, please email me at cropitlikeitshotattire@gmail.com for further discussion.
